BBC Marks Remembrance Week with Cross-Platform Coverage

Annual Ceremony Honors War Fallen

Buckingham Palace has announced that King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla will attend the National Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph in Whitehall on Remembrance Sunday, November 12, 2023.

The BBC will provide comprehensive coverage of Remembrance Week 2023 across television, radio, and online platforms. The centerpiece of the BBC's coverage will be the live broadcast of the National Service of Remembrance, hosted by Huw Edwards.

The National Service of Remembrance is held annually at the Cenotaph to honor the men and women who have given their lives in war and conflict. The ceremony includes a wreath-laying ceremony, prayers, and a two-minute silence.
