76ers Vs Cavs

Garland Leads Shorthanded Cavaliers to Thrilling 122-119 Victory

Embiid Dominates, But Harden and Garland Shine

Cleveland, OH - March 16, 2024 -

Despite missing several key players due to injuries, the Cleveland Cavaliers pulled off a stunning 122-119 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night. Leading the charge for Cleveland was point guard Darius Garland, who stepped up in a big way to fill the void left by the injured Donovan Mitchell.

Garland finished the game with 31 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds, shooting an efficient 12-of-21 from the field. He was particularly effective in the fourth quarter, scoring 10 points and dishing out 3 assists to help the Cavaliers rally from a 5-point deficit.

Joel Embiid had a dominant performance for the 76ers, finishing with 35 points and 17 rebounds. James Harden also contributed 21 points and 11 assists, but it wasn't enough to overcome the inspired play of the Cavaliers.
